There is NO plumbing, but there is a small water system and outhouse. Located just two blocks away from Main Street, enjoy short walking distance to all amenities while having the peace and quiet of a secluded lot. This cozy log home has been recently updated inside from top to bottom including a new kitchen, bathroom and sauna. Enjoy watching planes taking off and landing from the living room windows.

Talkeetna Chum Cabin at Montana Creek & Suana

Our cabin is in a private wilderness setting on a beautiful stream. There is a wood-fired sauna for your use and it’s located a mere 50 yards from the cabin. In mid-July through mid-September salmon often swim by your deck. Our single room streamside cabin rests on the Southfork branch of Montana Creek, built from local spruce and birch. We do not have television or hot running water; our bathroom is a cozy outhouse.

We built the Rocky Top AirBnB as an Aurora-viewing, winter-loving house: its walls are a foot thick, with radiant floors heated by an environmentally-friendly vegetable-oil boiler. At night, watch the Aurora from bed or the large north-facing windows. The large couch is a comfortable place to watch the low winter sun traverse the mountains to the south during the day.
