Thunder Ridge —Entire House pet-friendly near NOLA

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. Our cozy cabin sits in the heart of Cajun country, about 30 minutes outside of Lafayette. It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.

Located 1 minute from LSUE campus and Sittig ball fields, and a 3 minute drive to downtown Eunice/Lakeview Park/ and all wedding venues, our centrally located Cajun house is one of the first family homes here in Eunice. Yes!! We are pet friendly! This home holds so many wonderful memories, and we are hoping to share our little piece of “home” with you! Please, this is a no smoking/ no vaping home!
