Our ranch is located just off of Crazy Woman Canyon Road and only a short 4 mile drive to the base of Crazy Woman Canyon and the Bighorn Mountains. We offer a perfect, rural home base with easy access for anyone wanting to enjoy the trails on their snow mobile or atv, fish, hike or snow shoe. We are a working ranch, but your privacy is very important to us.

This 100-year-old log cabin, elegantly and modernly refurbished, is nestled in the Big Horn Mountains 10 miles west of Buffalo WY. Set deep in the spruce along N Clear Creek and bordering Bighorn National Forest on the south, our beautiful and modern cabin is close to all summer and winter outdoor activities plus 10 minutes from groceries and shopping in historic Buffalo. Activities right outside the door include fly fishing, hiking, hunting, snowshoeing, and X-country skiing.

The Story Place Peaceful Big Horn Mountain Retreat

Escape to the forest of the Big Horns in our 2 Bed 1 Full Bath/2 Half Bath vacation home in between Buffalo and Sheridan in the sleepyl town of Story. This tri-level unit has plenty of parking, a full kitchen, is fully furnished, and has plenty of space to relax. The entire upstairs and all bathrooms have been rennovated. Story is a town of 900 people, so there is one store open daily and two restaurant/bars. This is the place to stay if you are wanting a peaceful getaway.

A gem in the heart of downtown Buffalo! The Hidden Gem is over 100 years old but was recently renovated. The space captures the history of the building while providing a luxury, modern feel. Although located in a small town, this studio apartment with high ceilings has metropolitan vibes. Two beds make this perfect for individuals, couples or small families. If you enjoy fishing or boating, Lake DeSmet is just 2.5 miles away. The Bunkhouse has plenty of parking area for boat and trailer, or horse trailer. Horse corrals available.

Big Horn Getaway

The bedroom is in the loft above a working ceramics studio. The bathroom is on the main floor with one flight of stairs. We are located about two miles from the base of the Bighorn Mountains with a beautiful view and lots of privacy. It is a perfect getaway for two people who can handle the stairs. The space is not suitable for children under 18 or pets. We are unable to accommodate service dogs due to host's allergies.

Mountain View Haven

This is a new build in 2023, unobstructed views of the Big Horn Mountains. Bring the horses, dogs, and/or UTVs. Horse corrals with automatic waters, 2 indoor box stalls. 3 miles from Buffalo, 4 miles from the Big Horn National forest, 6 miles from the Bud Love Winter Game Range. Also for rent are a gooseneck horse trailer, bumper pull horse trailer and a UTV trailer.
