Ploughman’s Rest

The Ploughman’s Rest have 3 spacious bedrooms. Each room have 2 single beds that can be replaced with a king size bed if needed. The rooms are spacious enough for a third person to share comfortably. Each bedroom have their own en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. Two of these bathrooms have bathtubs too. Each room have an entrance from the veranda and an internal door leading to the lounge, dining room and kitchen. The bedrooms have coffee/ tea making facilities, hairdryers, usb charge plugs and ceiling fans. The kitchen is equiped with a fridge, microwave, crockery, cutlery and other electrical appliances such as a toaster. A lovely braai / boma area is available ouside. A television with full DSTV package is available in the lounge. Free wifi

We live on a small farm 10km outside of Lydenburg. One end looks up the beautiful mountainside, other overlooks the breath-taking Long Tom Pass. Enjoy the quiet and gorgeous countryside. Some famous attractions are relatively close by, such as Dullstroom (45km), God's Window(90km), The highest brewery in Africa (20km) and the magnificent Kruger Park (120km). This is a good spot for a quiet weekend, a stop-over on your journey or as business accommodation for easy access to the mines in our area.

Set amongst towering Kiepersols, thick varied indigenous vegetation and a gently sloping lawn terrace right onto the reed surround of the Kiepersol 4 hactare dam. Fully furbished kitchen. Bathroom with tub and shower. All towels and linen provided. Complimentary firewood. Apologies...no wifi or TV..just nature. Cottage serviced daily. Indoor fireplace. Outdoor Weber braai. Please close cottage to prevent entry of monkeys....

The spacious old home, in it's own private garden, is newly renovated providing the perfect combination of historical South African homestead and modern living. The house boasts 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each of the spacious rooms has a queen-sized bed, large built-in cupboards and a desk . The first lounge leads off a long front verhanda. There is also a large living room with a smart TV, loungw,fireplace and dining area. The kitchen is fully fitted with all basic amenities.

The master bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom have a double bed and the third bedroom two single beds.
