Welcome to the newly renovated historic Schoolhouse nestled in the native prairie at Big Sky Bison Ranch, a working regenerative bison operation in the peaceful, private Muddy Creek Valley. The 1,200-acre property is the perfect backdrop for relaxation. Bison, deer, antelope, trout, waterfowl, pheasants, coyotes, badgers, otters, beavers, and the occasional bear call it home. Catch-and-release fly fishing; private bison tours and other ranch experiences are available for an additional fee.

Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, waterfowl, pheasants, and deer call this property in the Big Sky State home. This rental allows for catch and release fishing at your leisure. 2 bedroom cabin sleeps up to 6 people with a double bed in each bedroom and a double futon in the living room. Linens are provided. Fully equipped kitchen with full size refrigerator, gas range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, pots & pans and utensils for basic cooking. This is an old rustic cabin. It’s not a new cabin with rustic decor. It is recommended that you adjust your expectations so that you are not disappointed.

Listening to the creek slowly fall over the rocks and the birds singing, this is truly a destination for relaxation. This is the James Mills Cabin. Built in 1925 , it is one of 6 original cabins built in the valley. The cabin property borders the Lewis and Clark National Forest 26 miles west of Augusta MT.
