This rustic, minimally maintained yurt with no water is accessed only by foot travel, bike or skis. Come prepared to relax, unwind & explore the wonders of the north woods.

We have a kids' nook with toys and books and all the kid and baby gear. There is a large deck with furniture in the backyard, a small playground, fire pit and mature apple trees on a 1/2 acre lot.

The Birkebeiner cross country ski trail and scores of other mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling trails are close by plus other public recreation opportunities (hunting, snowshoeing, bird watching, etc) abound in the nearby National Forest lands. Several other lakes, including Lake Namekagon and Lake Owen, are nearby for your boating and fishing pleasure.

Easy walking distance to everything in Cable. It can sleep 5-6, but makes a great space for 2-4. 3 mi from the Birkie start, 2.5 mi from the North End Cabin. ATV & Snowmobile right from the driveway. Full furnace for heat and central air conditioning for those hot summer days!
