Enjoy the tranquility of Nature and easy access to the fun of the Columbia River Gorge in our cozy, rustic yurt. Located in the hills outside Mosier, OR, we offer an alternative to camping: Glamping. If you are not excited to experience using an outside john and shower, keeping the wood stove stoked or living among the creatures of the forest, this may not be your style of adventure ;) Check in is 5pm, but open to flexible scheduling if possible. We are 6 miles from downtown, with beaches, gorge and Mt. Hood accessible for day outings. There is a full kitchen, a natural gas fireplace and complete electrical and plumbing service. The guests full bathroom is located in the home's utility room a short lighted pathway walk from the yurt.

We provide french roast coffee, grinder, and, french press, as well as the heated hybrid memory foam and latex mattress with down comforter and mattress heater where you can fall asleep looking thru the 5' yurt dome at the stars...or..snowflakes, but more than likely some rain..:)

The yurt is a great place to disconnect and unwind in every season. We built it as a family and we’re excited to share it with you. Yurt has full kitchen, bath & laundry. Private road access, tucked in the back corner of our 5 acres. The hot tub is midway between our house and the yurt. It is solely yours to use during your visit. Please purchase Trip Insurance. We’re not able to make exceptions with cancellations.

Myrtle's Yurt

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. No phone, no tv and no internet help you get away. Your cell may or may not get coverage here. (For urgencies, wifi/landline available in my main house). Private yurt with two shared bathrooms in an outbuilding. Please note, this is CAMPING with a bed. It can be hot, it can be cold, there may be bugs, there is no electricity, and no running water in the yurt.
