This newly built carriage house is separate from the main house. The cottage is about 1,200 sqft so it very open and spacious and great views of marsh and our tidal creek. We have a separate work area with desk and a massive dinning table if you need more room to work or to gather with friends. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, massive shower, the list goes on. Cottage Under the Oaks

A lovely studio centrally located on James Island, The Cottage is about 5 miles to Folly Beach or Downtown. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and almost everything on the island is within a few miles. *No children under 13 without prior approval.* **We do have a 30-day minimum during some dates. **One of the few Airbnb’s with a legal permit in Charleston, SC. Just 15 minutes from downtown Charleston, SC. Free parking in my driveway! Guest suite. Own private and separate entrance. Marsh and creekside Luxury Treehouse nestled among historic Grand Oaks. Private Elevated TreeHouse that has closeup views of trees and wildlife from every oversized window. Sit back and relax on the large deck watching the ebb and flow of the tide as fish jump, birds hunt and fiddler crabs defend their bank. (This property has been granted an exemption and does not accept pets or Service animals due to allergies.)

Our guest studio is located at our home minutes to Folly Beach and Downtown Charleston. The studio is one room and features a queen bed, dining area with an apartment size refrigerator, toaster oven and microwave. There is a bathroom with a small stand up shower. There is a private entrance, covered porch and fenced yard area along with off-street parking.
