Escape the Atlanta heat by reclining in the soaking tub or lounging on the comfortable bed under a cedar shingle ceiling. Newly built in August 2022, this space was dreamed, designed and built with the ultimate guest experience in mind.

Backyard Waterfall Apt | Decks | No Shared Space

Our charming apartment is nestled in the woods with a prime view of your own private 15 ft waterfall in the backyard. Enjoy peace & tranquility while reading a book on the hammock or warm up by the chiminea while watching the fireflies scatter about the woods. The creek is approximately 3 ft deep at the bottom of the waterfall. The property is surrounded by State Forest. If the apartment gets rented, the rest of the house is blocked from being rented so you will not be sharing ANY space.

Escape to our fairytale cabin, on 100 secluded, private acres of gorgeous forest on Lake Wedowee. Soak in the hot tub, bake a pizza in the wood-fired oven, snuggle in nest swing or stroll the river road to swim or kayak. Hike to Wolf Creek and pan for gold. This gorgeous cabin is inspired by the 1840s rock chimneys-found in the forest—built with reclaimed heart of pine, stained glass & cedar from the woods. Guinea fowl live on site. No tv—this is a place to unplug. No kids under the age of 12

Secluded Waterfall Cabin.

Romantic, rustic cabin at the base of a 35-foot waterfall, nestled in the middle of 16 secluded acres surrounded by national forest that extends to the Chattooga River. This magical get-away caters to those with an adventurous spirit. Hike from the cabin to additional waterfalls, bike down Turkey Ridge Road to Opossum Creek Trail and the Five Falls or drive two miles to the Chattooga Belle Farm. The Waterfall Cabin is a joy to us all, and we hope you love it as much as we do. No cleaning fee.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Perched high among the treetops, enjoy views of wildlife and a flowing rocky creek. This woodland oasis offers quiet natural respite, and located 3 minutes from restaurants, groceries and 8 minutes to downtown Athens and UGA. We are both architects, we designed this treehouse to share our love of Athens, nature, & design with you :) Our family also lives on the property and will be available if you need anything during your stay.
