The Perfect Day Getaway house is located on a quaint farm within 8 minutes of world-class hiking, mountain and road bicycling, and river rafting. It is a great launching point for day trips to Moab and the Grand Mesa as well! It was built to maximize the southern exposure and views of the Colorado National Monument.

Recent review: The best place we've ever stayed at, hands down! The location felt like a dead end road, yet close to everything. The yard had beautiful flower beds, not to mention the amazing view of Mt. Garfield! The house itself was very comfortable and had anything you can imagine in the kitchen, making a few at home dinners a breeze. Owners Note: One (1) dog 45 lbs max allowed unless an additional dog is approved in advance, please include # of people and # of dogs when booking.

A Chicken COOP Guest House, set in the backyard area of an Old Colorado home built in 1912. Sitting amongst green lush lawns, vegetable & flower gardens you will definitely enjoy. We have a massive tree with a large swing. We have a pro style trampoline. A crafty artist made cornhole set, made out of skis. We also have a hot tub for you to use. The house is 6 miles from Palisade and a short drive to the Orchards of Orchard Mesa. Skiing at Powderhorn Mountain Resort is a short 40 minute drive. Fruita, with world class mountain biking, is a 40 minute drive. The home is 1/4 mile off of Business Loop 70 with easy access to Interstate 70. A small farm within city limits.

We are conveniently located right next to the Palisade fruit and wine byway. You'll enjoy gorgeous views of Mt. Garfield to the north and the Grand Mesa to the east. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub after a long day of adventure. This is country living at its best! We live next door, but this ADU is all yours.
