The Wood Pile Inn getaway

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This historic cabin built in 1920 was recently refurbished to its old charm with some modern upgrades for your comfort. The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. You'll find a copy in the cabin for a good read.Lots of natural light make this little cabin feel spacious, the windows throughout the cabin offer a beautiful forest view.

Enjoy a unique private space with no shared walls on an acre of lush property. Stroll the grounds picking fresh oranges and watch all the beautiful birds that grace our large ash trees. Sip coffee and watch the sunrise on the private deck off the casita, or a glass of wine by the fire pit. There’s also a private side yard where you can grill and dine. This new tiny home sits on a beautiful ranch in the middle of citrus and olive trees, with a vineyard as part of your view. It is near the Safari Park, wedding venues and is walking distance to 4 wineries! The property is gated so guests feel safe and sleep peacefully in the quiet of the country. You will love the fresh fruit, farm animals, and tranquility of the location - all while only being 4.5 miles off the freeway. This space is excellent for couples, friends and solo adventurers.

Our private nature sanctuary is nestled amongst mountains and undeveloped land with spectacular views and fresh, clean air. The cozy space has a huge deck with daybed, outdoor bathroom/shower, and kitchenette. Close by hiking trails, a running river, dark, star-filled skies, and quiet whispers of nature are amongst the magic that serves the soul at our special spot. Cozy Hilltop Garden Studio w/ City Views & Jacuzzi

Beautiful garden level basement studio on top of a hill overlooking the city (guest suite underneath main home). The studio features a separate, private entrance with captivating views of both the backyard garden and city skyline. Enjoy access to the backyard which includes a large deck and entertaining space as well as an outdoor fireplace & jacuzzi. Inside the studio is a large tv center with netflix, amazon, hulu and starz included in addition to high speed wifi.

Creekside Studio (private entrance)

Creekside Studio is a cozy, well equipped, private yet centrally located studio retreat in South Escondido. It is on a 1-acre, quiet cul-de-sac lot, attached to the main house (our residence), with it’s own private entrance. The studio has a small kitchenette (no stove), a queen size bed and a twin sleeper/couch and a bathroom with shower (no tub). Roku TV, free-WiFi keep you entertained or hang out on the deck with your coffee in a park-like setting.

Cozy yet spacious studio apartment attached to the main house where I live. You will have your own private patio, a full kitchen. Most everything you would need is there. The bathroom is simple and small, but very nice and clean and all amenities you would need. The Studio apartment reflects my home, which is full of color and Mexican art/ folk art. It's not new or modern. Built in 1953, a Ranch House style. It's unique and full of life!
