The house is located at walking distance from the major Land marks in the City of Poughkeepsie. Walkway over the Hudson: Just Two minutes walk. Train Station is 3/4 Miles only. Grand Hotel is only Five minutes walk. Marist College is One mile, Vassar Hospital is 1.2 miles. Vassar College is just 2 Miles away. CIA is only 3 miles away. Historic sites, President Roosevelt Mansion, Vanderbilt Mansion and Miller house are 5 to12 miles away. All the famous Restaurants are walking distance .

SPECIAL NOTE: We have one prickly neighbor who HATES when people go up his driveway by mistake. FIND US BY THE ELF SIGN, don't rely on GPS. In a corner of our dry basement level, across the hall from two other bedrooms, we have this tiny modest room with a privacy screen. Priced economically and for the occasional budget minded traveler just passing through. Comes with all amenities- sheets pillow towel and quick meals at our snack share bar. Coffee tea and a quick breakfast always available.

The Gables of Rhinebeck Inn, Rockhouse Suite (2BR)

The Gables of Rhinebeck, a 4-suite Inn located one block from Rhinebeck Village. This Inn is a fifteen-gable 1860 Gothic Revival Victorian in the heart of Rhinebeck Village. Guests have full access to our half-acre fenced-in yard with perennial and ornamental gardens, + plenty of indoor space. This suite, "Rockhouse" is a 2BR in it's own private corner of the Inn on the 2nd floor. About Your Suite -Queen BR (one room) -Two Twin BR (second room) -Full Bathroom with claw foot tub (third room)

Scandinavian Design Dutchess County - 1 of 3 rooms

This room is located on the lower level walk out of my home and private bathroom. This is 1 of 3 rooms I offer. I live and work from my home. I have a Golden Retriever - Greta is 4. No kitchen access. However, a 3 course Nordic breakfast is served at 9am with your stay. The home has multiple spaces both in and out for use. Please bring slippers or socks to wear inside my home. Highly recommend a car. Uber is expensive. Please check in prior to 9 pm. Prefer 5 star guests. Sorry no children.

Spacious & Private Hudson Valley Getaway

Welcome to Marlboro! This private space in our home features a private entrance, private bathroom with a nice standing shower, eating area (not a kitchen) with tea kettle and coffee machine, toaster, microwave and refrigerator with freezer. There is a table and chairs, love seat couch that transforms into a small cot, queen bed, walk in closet and 55 inch smart TV with a full motion TV stand. We are permitted to operate in the town of Marlboro and a yearly fire inspection is conducted.

Enjoy a luxurious stay at One Vanderbilt Lane. Very close to the Culinary Institute of America, Walkway Over The Hudson, FDR Home and Library, Vanderbilt Mansion, Rhinebeck, Dutchess County Fairgrounds, Marist, Vassar and Bard Colleges. A lovely, historic home, formerly part of the Vanderbilt Estate, a 19th century Gilded Age Mansion, in scenic Hyde Park,. When FDR was in town the secret service would sleep in this house. This is documented in the archives in the Roosevelt Library.

Our largest of all our rooms has a king bed with an additional rollaway if needed. Beautiful wallpaper with dogwood vines and gray background sets the mood for a romantic weekend in the country.
