I will provide a worksheet listing the recipe and steps we will take to create a beautiful looking and tasty little work of art. I will guide you through making the cookie dough while chatting about where they can easily source all the ingredients used and how You can make fondant from marshmallows. After mixing the dough and setting the oven we will roll the dough Showing you how to get a perfectly even thickness and then cut shapes and bake the cookies. While the cookies are baking we will prepare the icing ingredients, once the cookies have cooled we will decorate them using cutters and stamps and maybe even apply some edible 24k gold leaf depending on the design we are doing. Once the cookies are done I will also show them a few ideas on how they can be presented as gifts. The cupcake classes will follow the same format but you will learn to make butter cream icing and maybe do a little piping. Or we can master making the simple scone and Australian ANZAC biscuits and then sit and relax while sipping tea and eating the biscuits and scones with lashings of salty butter, whipped cream and sweet strawberry jam.
You will leave the experience taking with you at least six cupcakes or cookies or scones
On completion of the class we will have afternoon tea on my vast rural patio weather permitting or at my large 12 seat dining table.
