After a small introduction to the history of Sicily, you will be able to travel to one of its most famous villages: Cefalù, where famous movies such as "cinema paradiso" have been filmed.
I am going to "guide you", with both Google maps and my own photos, trough the main streets and monuments but expecially hidden gems and I am going to tell you all its history full of beautiful legends;) .. We will go behind the classic "touristic routes" too and we will also interact a lot with some small games about the legends I will share;)
I am going to tell you a lot of information about the sicilian culture too and you are free to ask me any curiosity.
At the end of this virtual tour I am going to talk with you about my passion: the sicilian street food! I am going to tell you all the origins of our street food ,that are part of our history too, and I am going to share with you a family recipy of a typical street food as a memory of your travel to Sicily ;)
This is not just a simple tour but a beautiful interactive storytelling trough the eyes of a native person with strong passion for her village.

Hi, I am Ambra and I am a tour leader and a travel designer too. First of all I am a traveller and I've travelled a lot before coming back to my native village, Cefalù. I used to live in Dublin as an aupair and than in London as a flight attendant. It's been 6 years I've moved back to Sicily and 2years ago I became tour leader. Two years ago I became an airbnb host too and I've hosted more than 700 travellers from all over the world who left me more than 200 5stars feedbacks! I am now offering this new experience to offer you a virtual tour trough the beautiful seaside village of Cefalù, to let you travel from your sofa and to tell you all the magic stories and legends that left a beautiful memory to the travellers I had the pleasure to host during this year!

Great experience of Cefalu Sicily. Ambra is very knowledgeable about her beautiful town, takes you street by street and tells you legends and bits of history. This is my first virtual tour, so I have nothing to compare against, but I enjoyed the experience. The commentary and conversation during the tour, including local history and legends, was interesting and made Cefalù seem real, more than just pictures, and made it a place I would like to visit in person someday. I also learned about some new foods I have never tried before.

We had an incredible tour around Cefalu, Ambra‘s home town. We learnt about Sicily’s history, saw exquisite sites and heard local legends. Ambra’s passion for her town and culture makes this tour so different from others. And to top it all, we won some family recipes for traditional street food. ❤️
