Sip your way through this wine tasting experience as we take a journey across the captivating story of Cyprus Commandaria – The first wine in the world to be named after it’s Protected Designated area of Origin. Pronounced as “The King of Wines and the Wine of the Kings” named by the Knights Hospitaller in the 12th century.

We’ll begin by recounting historical turning points in Commandaria’s fabled past, from the ancient Greeks, to the Crusaders, to today's reality. We’ll learn how this amber-coloured dessert wine is produced, and explore Commandaria’s various styles, method of evaluating, and food pairings. To cap off the experience, I will help you perform your own wine tasting analysis using the wine you will bring along and your senses (See- Smell- Taste- Touch)
Please note: This is not a history lesson but an interactive storytelling and wine tasting session among friends enjoying a glass of wine or two!

This it’s a great class and Pambos is an amazing host ! It did not feel like it was an online class at all it was so much fun and I learnt so much about wine tasting ! I would definitely recommend this especially if you get some friends to do it with you as it’s a great way to have fun In Lockdown Pambos definitely keeps the class engaged and interested! I have done lots of air B and B classes and this was on of my favourites

Pambos was a fantastic host and this was both informative and fun. I really enjoyed the format of this class, learnt loads and Pambos really made the virtual wine tasting work really well. I cant wait to visit Cyprus when we can travel and see some of the places Pambos talked about and do the wine tasting for real

Pambos is a great host, and his knowledge about wine is spectacular. Cyprus wine is not that famous as French or Italian but it's really great. I highly recommend to participate the experience if you are a wine lover.

As a wine lover, I enjoyed very much this experience. Pambos walks you to discover Commandaria and all the history around this unique wine. It was a great to learn about Cyprus and I particularly enjoyed the stories of the kings and gods. I highly recommend this experience. Ideal for Groups and for anyone interested in wines.
