We will have you meet us at our Yoga Studio located at 3788 Mission Blvd in San Diego, CA. Please plan on wearing a mask when you arrive and take care to monitor yourself.n
We will send you information to help you prepare for your experience which includes :
Please be prepared by bringing a towel, a way to secure your sunglasses to your head,
we recommend a hat and sunscreen.
We will give you a short overview of how to use the paddle, anchor, life vest, and board. Once we have completed our discussion, we will each grab our own gear and walk across the street to Mission Bay where we will launch our boards. We will paddle about 5 minutes and secure our boards by anchors. Once we are lined up and secured, we will begin a slow, steady, secure yoga practice which involves cued poses as well as easy modifications for those of you that prefer to not stand.
We will move through the asanas for about 40 minutes and then experience Savasana (lying flat on your back on the board) for an additional 5 minutes. We will then stand up and paddle back over to the shoreline. Remove our boards, wrap up our anchors and place them in the anchor bags, and carry our gear back to the studio. We can rinse the sand off of our feet here, towel off, and take some group photos. We will recommend some great local restaurants within walking and encourage you to stay in Mission Beach and make a day of i

It is important that you know how to swim. We have a set class and ask that you come with an open mind and be ready to try the Namaste on the Bay. We also ask that you take care of the equipment so that the anchor and paddle does not get lost in the water and you take care with the fiberglass board.

I am a San Diego resident, and I would love to share the magic of Mission Beach with you - a classic boardwalk beach town. We have a PRIVATE yoga studio in Mission Beach where we will meet for your SUP Experience. We are currently limiting our classes to 7 due to COVID. I am EYT- 200 hour certified Yoga Instructor and a very accomplished stand up paddleboarder. I find great joy in hosting Standup Paddleboard (SUP) yoga classes - merging my two passions into a beautiful, challenging and meaningful experience.
I , along with my business partner Anne, who is also an avid yogi and SUP enthusiast , own Mission Beach Yoga Studio. We have a beautiful space that offers yoga, meditation, and Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga! We offer Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga Teacher certifications and work with several fabulous instructors. This was truly amazing! A workout for my mind, body and spirit. Dont miss the Thursday night class and watch and feel the sunset as you exhale your stress and inhale the fresh ocean air. This class was fun, challenging and a great way to end a say at the beach! Go! Do!
