BodyBarre is one of my registered fitness classes. My BodyBarre classes lead the way on Sydney's Northern Beaches as in all I teach and have designed. The class begins with (1) balance, posture, focus, breathing and mobilisation of spine and continues with awareness of my 10 Principles of Teaching/Training. (3) More cardio with optional handweights and ChiBalls and then (3) Ballet Barre for a more intense training based on parallel and turn out as in ballet. The music is pumping to keep energy high. (3) We move to the mat for a fusion of Yoga and Pilates for core, lengthening, stretching and balancing the body and finish with (5) Yoga Nidra (the waking sleep) for a complete Mind Body and Balanced Workout

Jill Healy-Quintard's Fitness and Wellness training and experiences spans 35+ years. Driven by her pro-age philosophy she takes pride in providing the latest research and information to keep people fit and well at any age. As Owner/Operator of Body and Balance Fitness and Wellness Australia her goals include quality classes and individual sessions based on extensive training and experience. Jill has been recognised by Women’s Economic Forum (WEF17) as an Iconic Woman of the Century for her commitment to Fitness and Health and has been nominated as a Top 5 in the Fitness Australia Awards 2019, has released her first book 'YogaPilates Fusion: A Mind Body and Balanced Program' and presented YogaPilates at the largest Fitness Convention in the Southern Hemisphere also in 2019. Jill's clients range from school age students to ageing adults.

We will begine in the Body and Balance Studio, a separate space from the house. It is equiped with Yoga Mats, ballet barre, mirrors, Pilates equipment, hand weights, chiballs, Pilates Circles and more. It is a quiet and mediative environemnt suitable for Meditation as well as classes in Yoga, Pilates, YogaPilates Fusion, Barre, Personal Training. Depending on the weather the attached cabana and pool will be used as an addition to the class
