Amish in the area & a local Amish market. Go for walks in our wooded area. Relax on a private deck in the evening. Queen bed, full bed, as well as a couch w/matching loveseat. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay in south central IL. The cabin overlooks a 2 acre private lake that offers great views, kayak rides, feeding the fish, and swimming. The home sits on 70 acres and allows for great views of the wildlife. Use the nice covered deck for relaxing in the morning and BBQs in the evening. The spacious living room/kitchen allows for great entertaining with friends and curling up on the leather couch with family to watch a movie.

We have 2 electric fireplaces, 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms, futon & full size bed in living room that sleeps up to 7 total. It has a side covered porch with a seating area & table with chairs. Firepit area for roasting hotdogs or marshmallows. Firewood on premises. Propane grill on back patio. Small kids play area in back yard & 4pm check in with 10am checkout.

Sonnemann Cabin

Rustic one room log cabin. Built in 1931. Bathroom is on the back porch with both hot and cold water. The cabin is equipped with an airconditioner, heater, refrigerator, microwave, stove, grill and a queen sized bed. Setting is rural and tranquil. Very quiet, beautiful place to relax and unplug. No TV or WIFI, but good cellular signal.
