Trillium Cottage at Lake Santeetlah

Trillium Cottage is situated on 2.5 heavily wooded acres overlooking the Snowbird Mountains and Lake Santeetlah. This very private two bedroom, one-story cottage sleeps 6 (two queen beds, one sleeper sofa) and has two full baths. The clean contemporary decor features artwork by regional artists and new comfortable furnishings. This is a place to relax, unwind, enjoy a good book, time on the lake, take a beautiful drive on the Cherohala Skyway, hike one of the many nearby trails, check out the artists in Stecoah, cook your favorite foods or simply take in the nature around you. *If you have a group larger than Trillium Cottage can accommodate and looking for an additional cottage close by, please check out Sundance Cottage. It's a very short walk away and can accommodate 7. **ATTENTION: The last 1.5 miles to my cottage is a forest service gravel road and one part is a bit steep. Front or All wheel drive is recommended.

Wow! It's beautiful here -- nothing quite like it. All the amenities, but kinda like stepping back in time 30 years to a slower, more peaceful time. On the bank of West Buffalo Creek, close to Cherohala Skyway, Joyce Kilmer, Tail of the Dragon, GSMNP and Lake Santeetlah. Washer/dryer, AC, heat, dishwasher, microwave, TV, on world class trout stream. 1 large br w/2 queen beds, 1 1/2 bath. Campfire/picnic area, ample parking. Pet friendly w/$50 pet fee. Wifi. Fire pit, grill & table creekside.

The hot tub is located on the deck overlooking the beautiful Mountain View. We are just 20 minutes away from Bryson City and the Nantahala Outdoor Center, 10 minutes from Tsali Recreation, 25 minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park, Cherokee and The Blue Ridge Parkway. The Wounded Warrior Cabin is located near the "Tail of the Dragon," Cherokee NC, NOC, Fontana Village and many other family-friendly activities. A trout stream runs along the front of the cabin and overlooks the mountains. There are 3 large bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a game room, wrap around porch, and laundry room. It is close to Lake Santeetlah, making this cabin a perfect getaway for couples, solo adventures, business travelers, families w/kids, large groups and is dogs friendly.
