Cozy Alaska Cabin #1 with Glacier View & Starlink!

Glacier View Cabin #1 provides a rustic getaway near the historic Pinochle Trail and the stunning Matanuska Glacier. You can hike, bike, or ride right from the cabin! Inside, 3 beds with foam mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows, heater, a Keurig coffee maker, and a hot water kettle. Amenities include room-darkening shades. While we supply four bottles of drinking water, we recommend bringing additional supplies. Our dry cabins feature convenient outhouses, a fire ring, and a picnic table outside.

Mountain View Chalet @ Abby's Place

Imagine waking up to stunning views of the Chugach Mountains from your own private suite. This beautiful post-and-beam chalet offers panoramic mountain vistas and easy access to nearby attractions. The great room is the perfect place to gather, and the separate laundry room will make it easy to keep your clothes clean after a day's adventure. The 1250 sqft suite is the entire 2nd floor of my home. It is accessed by its own staircase and balcony. A 3-mile hiking trail takes you to 5500 ft. Our Haven accommodates 4 guests with 2 bedrooms, each featuring a queen bed, a closet, and one bedroom has a good sized dresser. Enjoy the quiet retreat…minutes away from Matanuska Glacier. Our home has wifi, providing a variety of streaming options on the TV as well as a DVD player. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, a hand mixer, toaster, coffee maker, even a salad spinner!

Schooner Lake Vacation Rental

This lake front rental is located off the Glenn Highway, nestled in the small community of Nelchina, on Schooner Lake (45 miles outside of Glennallen). Although techincally only one bedroom, this place offers a spacious 800 sq. feet of open living space on one story and provides spectacular views of the Chugach Mountains from the South facing windows. The location of the rental makes for a great home base to travel, as it is centerally located between Anchorage and Valdez.

The Johnson House Cottage

The cottage is a secluded guesthouse in a friendly neighborhood with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and river. This retreat has room for up to four guests. It is an open floor plan with a double bed on the ground floor and twin beds in an upstairs loft. The kitchen has an induction cooktop, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave. Propane BBQ on the deck and bathroom with a shower. Our cottage is not visible from the parking area so self check-in is not an option.

Pull-out queen couch can sleep additional two guests. *Winter months, AWD is a must. Garage is not for guest use.
