Este edificio, conocido popularmente como Etxetxu, fue construido en 1612 y es el más antiguo del Puerto Viejo, anterior incluso al propio puerto, que fue elevado en 1629, diecisiete años después. Incluso ha sido escenario de varias películas, la más sonada “Un poco de Chocolate”.
