The cottage is only 2 minutes from the town of Oakhurst but surrounded by mountains with no neighbors to be seen. From the deck, you have an open view of the ridges of Sierra NF! Badger Pass is a great ski resort nearby. The closest golf course is 15 minutes away and is called River Creek Golf Course.
