This spacious three-bedroom, two-bath home is ideal for families, couples, or small groups looking for an easy basecamp for outdoor adventures and relaxed time together. Inside, the home features an open, light-filled layout with high ceilings and a cozy living area that opens up to a loft above. Settle in on the comfortable seating, enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace, or unwind with a movie after a day outside. Large windows bring in natural light and create a welcoming, home-away-from-home feel. The well-equipped kitchen offers full-size appliances, ample counter space, and everything needed for everyday meals. Gather around the dining table for shared dinners or step outside to enjoy meals on the patio. The large yard and porch swing provide space to relax while kids and your dog enjoy the outdoors. Sleeping arrangements are flexible and comfortable, with a king bedroom, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room featuring a twin-over-double setup—perfect for families or mixed groups. The primary bedroom includes a private en-suite bath, while a second full bathroom serves the rest of the home. A washer and dryer are available for added convenience, especially after long days exploring. Outside, guests love the easy walk to nearby parks and river access, plus quick drives to Hartman Rocks, hiking and biking trails, fishing spots, ATV routes, and public lands. Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte Ski Area are an easy drive for world-class skiing in winter and mountain biking in summer. With free parking, a peaceful setting, and a location close to everything Gunnison has to offer, Gunni Getaway is a comfortable, convenient choice for your Colorado stay. Newly renovated loft in a building that is on the National Register of Historic Places. Centrally located in the Gunnison Valley, the loft is in downtown Gunnison and is walking distance from shops, restaurants, grocery stores and WCU. In the summer, you can enjoy hiking, biking, ATV trails, fly fishing, rafting, horseback riding and golfing. Crested Butte is 30 minutes away and the wildflower capital of Colorado. In the winter, Crested Butte Ski resort and Monarch Mountain are 45 minutes away.

Our house, located in Downtown Gunnison, is the perfect base camp for your family vacation. The house is kid friendly. We are conveniently located one block from the free bus to Crested Butte. No need to have a car. You can easily walk to all the downtown restaurants, coffee shops and to the grocery store. We are also a few blocks away from Western Colorado University. The house was fully remodeled in 2017 and is very clean. No pets have been in the house since the remodel. Keyless entry!

Upstairs you find 2 king bedroom suites and 1 Queen bedroom, game room with a 65” Smart TV ample seating and second full bath. Within walking distance are pickleball courts, trails, river access, shops, Main Street and much more!

A beautiful cabin tucked away in the Colorado mountains. This amazing place is surrounded by the Gunnison National Forest. It is an incredibly quiet place at the end of a Forest Rd with Wilderness surrounding it. This cabin is the perfect way to get away from the noises of life and just relax or hike the endless trails, fish the small creeks, watch the wildlife or take in the nature. You will not regret your stay. The Wilderness Cabin is located 11 miles up a Forest Service Dirt/Gravel road.

Experience staying in an original late 1800's one room log cabin restored and upgraded with all the modern comforts and amenities in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Within a block radius there's 4 restaurants, hockey rink, city parks and bus stop (free bus to Crested Butte), 3 Blocks to down town Gunnison and 6 blocks to Western State Colorado University.

Just two blocks away in either direction, you can take advantage of bus stops that will take you to Crested Butte where you will find endless outdoor recreational activities. You're stay comes with a fully stocked firewood shed to cozy up next to the wood burning stove on those chilly Gunnison evenings.
