日本家屋の2階建です1階にキッチンとダイニング、シャワー室2部屋 An authentic Japanese style house in Uzumasa, a movie town with the famous studios where the great Japanese movies have been made. I would like to introduce to you a house belonged to my aunt “Omine”(pronounced oh-me-nay), which has just been beautifully renovated. My auntie was a noted “Shamisen” guitar player and she appeared in many movies and TV dramas. Now her home and its rooms, where she practiced her “Shamisen”, have been converted for a comfortable stay.

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

This room has a kitchen (1 double bed and 1 single sofa bed) and another room (single bed and loft single bed), making it a rare accommodation with two bathrooms. It is located on the first floor. It is not shared with others, but it may feel cramped for five people. The double glazing provides sound insulation, but it faces a main road, so car noise can be heard, which may be bothersome for those who are sensitive.
