Situated deep in the Suffolk countryside, The Carter's Loft is a beautifully presented studio bursting with charm. The popular local pub (White Horse) offers good food and local beer. There are numerous footpaths on the doorstep, a community cafe selling homemade cakes and refreshments (open 10.30 - 12.30 Wed - Thurs, occasional Sundays and some super evening events) plus our local vineyard. We are close to historic Framlingham and within easy reach of the heritage coast.

This self-contained holiday let is half of our 16th century thatched cottage, which has been lovingly restored with traditional building techniques, using wattle and daube and lime plaster. The area The cottage is only 20 minutes from Southwold and Walberswick. RSPB Minsmere is about 30 minutes away as is The National Trust's Dunwich Heath and English Heritage's Framlingham Castle.
