Original hardwood floors beautifully sanded, stained and restored. 7’ tall replacement windows allow lots of natural light & air to flow through. 10’ ceilings in main part of studio adds spaciousness. 8’ bar attached to exposed brick wall offers a place to dine as well as provides a workspace. This second floor loft is completely private.

Look out over the field for a beautiful sunrise. On a clear night, the stars are amazing! Enjoy nature and take a walk along our creek. Spend some time in our little town at our local shops and restaurants.... We live in the country between Carrollton and Jerseyville. (There is no WiFi.)

Bunkhouse Seventy-Four

Once used by seasonal farm labor in the 1930s, Bunkhouse Seventy-Four is a fully restored historic bunkhouse with all the modern amenities for a comfortable getaway. Perfect for couples, it features a full kitchen, bath, queen bed, a spacious porch, beautiful antique stained glass windows, a private outdoor soaking tub (Apr-Nov) on a 7 acre hobby farm.
