Cozy Tiny Lake Cabin, No Guest Fees

This private peninsula has been a Northwoods getaway for the past 75 years, formerly as a resort and now as a unique collection of just three cabins. This listing is for Cabin #2, a lofted cabin that sits right along the waterfront. Each cabin has it's own firepit, picnic table, grill, and Adirondack chairs. The 6-person barrel sauna, kayaks, and all other outdoor spaces are shared among all guests. We're just 15 mins. from Downtown, Mt. Itasca, Tioga MTB Trails, and the Chippewa Nat'l Forest.

Balsam Lake Cabin

Peaceful one-bedroom, one bathroom cabin with loft on beautiful Balsam Lake. Features a striking two-story stone gas fireplace, wrap around deck, large dock, and kayaks. Relax by the firepit overlooking the lake or stargaze at night. Perfect for a quiet getaway or outdoor adventure. Due to severe family allergies, we cannot host pets of any kind, including assistance animals, but are happy to help find alternate accommodations. Please note: Security Cameras monitor the exterior of the cabin.

You can sauna, fish off of the dock or make use of the provided boat and Kayak. Use the Traeger grill and outdoor seating area, hike local trails, roast marshmallows over one of several fire pits, and then cozy up for a meal cooked in the gorgeous modern kitchen. We have a library of books and games on hand for you to enjoy, comfortable beds, and an incredible view!

Lake Cabin

My lake cabin is on a public lake with no public access (Please note, I do not have a boat landing for guests to bring their own boats due to the steep hill). It is near numerous snowmobile/ATV trails, many beautiful lakes, and the Chippewa National Forest. There is 250 feet of lakeshore and over 30 acres of hunting land across County Road 65. The cabin is on over 4 acres; plenty of room to relax. There is a dock, two kayaks, a 16' boat & motor, a small shed by lake, a fire pit & gas grill.
