Kadoka is a safe, quiet ranching community on the edge of the Badlands and I90. You will be 20 miles from the entrance to the Badlands National Park, 35 miles from Wall drug and 90 Miles from the Black Hills & Rapid City. This is a small community ( pop700 ). Late in the day or weekends can be very sleepy, limited amenities, but no traffic! Safe for solo.

Just 15 miles south of interstate 90 come stay with locals who've lived in the Badlands since the old days. Our ranch borders Badlands National Park just 6 miles to the main visitors center. The 4-bedroom 2 bath bunkhouse sits high atop our butte overlooking the Badlands where it's peaceful, private, quiet and has spectacular views in all directions. This listing is for the entire Bunkhouse (sleeping up to 8) however we do rent these rooms individually under the listing "Badlands Bunks".

The tiny house of Wasta with lots of character

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The tiny house is not an actual tiny house, a one bedroom with 1 queen bed, bathroom, kitchen/living room. Lazy boy reclining love seat, and a lazy boy recliner (very comfortable) for watching a movie in front of a faux fireplace. The kitchen is furnished with everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. The microwave is air fryer/microwave. Enjoy your evening/morning sitting on the covered porch with your favorite beverage.

The Rock and Block house

This is a Great Little House with Rustic yet Modern Charm, Beautiful View of the Cheyenne River Breaks. Two very comfy king sized beds. Wasta is a "very" small town, a gas station, a fabulous military museum and a bar. You can take in the Badlands on your way, you might drop down through Interior, S.D. and drive through the Badlands then come out just south of Wall. We are about 20 miles from the Badlands, 40 miles from Rapid City, and Beautiful Black Hills. Thank You, Billie

Enjoy a one-of-a-kind South Dakota stay in our custom, fully furnished grain bins. One bin features a spiral staircase leading to a queen bed, while the connected bin offers a second bedroom with a queen bed and twin bunk beds. Also a futon and 2 single fold out beds. 10 minute drive to the Badlands National Park & just a few minutes drive to Wall Drug! Relax with family & friends at our peaceful home! Our BNB is a private downstairs apartment, with it’s own walk out patio. Fenced in backyard with plenty of places to sit and relax! Full bath, laundry and kitchenette with fridge. The upstairs of our home is owner-occupied, but the entire downstairs is very private and all yours with its own entrance to come and go as you please!

Lena’s house

Located a short drive west of Interior and just 6 miles from the headquarters of Badlands National Park, this 1950’s house sits on a working cattle ranch. It is a peaceful location that provides the opportunity to be away from the noise of fellow travelers while still being very close to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, and also an easy drive to Wall and Rapid City. This house also provides great views of the Prarie and the wide open sky that accompanys it!

Hansen Inn, Cabin, One King, No Pets, Wall SD

This cabin is not pet-friendly. It features a king bed, accommodating 2 adults and 1 child, and is on the ground floor with no neighbors above, below, or beside you. Enjoy a private outdoor bench. Recently updated with new paint, flooring, bed, AC/heat units, toilets, blackout shades, and furniture. Includes cable TV, Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and private bathroom with shower/tub, hairdryer, and toiletries. Smoke-free and pet-free.
