There are also modern conveniences: heating, Wifi, TV with Netflix and fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a vaulted ceiling and the bathroom. Upstairs is a cosy double bedroom. Douce Mountain cabin is a charming self contained little house situated at the foot of Douce Mountain. There is a living space with a stove and a kitchenette on the groundfloor . A ladder leads the loft with 2 beds. It is a very quiet place surrounded y nature. Our other guesthouse is about 100 metres further down . Our own farmhouse is about 500 metres away. It is ideal for someone looking for a very quiet place to relax and immerse themselves in nature.

The house is open plan downstairs consisting of a kitchen, sitting area and a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there is bedroom and a small bathroom. The space is very bright and airy. There is a back yard . There is a good internet service within the house. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who like to self cater. It is a five minute walk to the main street, sea walk and public transport services.

Our homely one bedroom apartment is perfect as a base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way. Just a short drive from Glengarriff village where you will find the famous Garnish Island, Glengarriff Nature Rreserve, Bamboo Park, restaurants, shops and bars. We are also very central for exploring the Beara peninsula, Bantry, Kenmare and Killarney.
