The Lakeside River House

The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Come and enjoy the Nature Coast right from the backyard.

Our TV has a Firestick, so bring your streaming accounts and relax night away after you retire from roasting Smores on the outdoor firepit. A fold out sleeper couch takes this from a 2 person cottage to 4 in just minutes. Parking is not an issue, even if you have a trailer.

The Bunk House

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the front porch. The Bunk House is located in the barn, set behind the main house. The kitchen offers a compact fridge/freezer, stove/oven with utensils. Including a Keurig and coffee. The bedroom has a queen size bed and small closet. AC/Heat mini split is located in the bedroom. Wi-Fi. Gated access onto the farm.

Located in Rio Vista with a private 3 acre Park, this park is on the Rainbow River. Dive Inn, one of the best springs in Florida to scuba, snorkel, tube or kayak. Or hang out at the private park, swim, fish or just relax. Five minute walk to the private 3 acre park from my place or jump on the golf cart and cruise down. FREE use of the fishing poles, kayaks, golf cart and paddle boards during your stay.
