High quality linens and towels Everything you need to a relaxing getaway PET FEE- we do allow you to bring a well mannered dog. Please clean up after them so we can continue to allow this. Please don’t try to sneak in your dogs, without telling us. We have new protocols in place to help keep everyone safe. Cozy Redwood Cottage Near the Mendocino Coast

Our peaceful cottage is nestled among the redwoods, a few miles inland from the Mendocino Coast. High ceilings and skylights make this space feel spacious, offering natural light, and views of the majestic trees. The surrounding community is special, with many residents having lived here for decades, tending their homesteads. On your way in, you are likely to see cattle, horses, pigs, and chickens. Deer, coyote, foxes, mountain lions, owls, hawks, vultures, and bears also frequent the area.

A guest suite downstairs-totally separate from upstairs w/a nice garden outside. You walk down a gravel & brick path to enter @ ground level. It is a large studio w/old growth beams & full length windows, kitchen area, bathroom w/ a jacuzzi tub. There is a Paul Bunyan California King size bed w/ steps, w/no railings. Much room to roam. The outside yard is shared space, yet, we don’t walk in front of your windows and will respect your privacy. There’s a garden & fruit trees to graze in season.

From the cottage, walk to the beach, or 5 minute drive to Mendocino.
