Shamrock Cabin, Whitsand Bay

A stylish and comfortable cabin with breathtaking views across the Atlantic ocean. The perfect cosy retreat in a truly idyllic location. Please note there is no parking beside the cabin itself. Parking is available May-November in a nearby field where you can leave your car in a designated bay. You will then carry your luggage items across the road and down the cliff path to the cabin. If you have mobility issues then this should be considered before booking.

The spot has been in the owners family since the 1920s. Recently undergoing a full makeover we as a family are very proud to share it with you.

The caravan itself is very spacious with an electric fireplace, gas central heating and full kitchen. Situated in Dawlish Warren, there is plenty to do nearby, from dog walks or the adventure park for children. There is also an indoor/outdoor swimming pool and clubhouse on the caravan site, so something to do for everyone!

You will be able to enjoy the unique experience of watching horses out working on the gallops and grazing in the paddocks. Violet May's Retreat is the perfect place to relax and unwind in a secluded setting with stunning and extensive views of the beautiful Exe estuary. It is situated within a short walking distance of two village pubs at Cockwood harbour, both of which are very popular with excellent food ratings.
