Experience our newly-built eco-friendly tiny home perched right on the edge of the ridge above the majestic St Croix River Valley. Nordic Lake Cabin : Sauna/Hot Tub/Pontoon Rental

We finished building this modern Scandinavian cabin in spring 2020. It’s been featured in Vogue and on Magnolia Network. The cabin sits at the end of the road on a private lot with a perfect view of sunsets over the nature side of the lake. Drive past farm fields, into the woods, and onto our private gravel road, arriving at the driveway. Watch loons, tundra swans, eagles, beavers and deer while you relax by the lake. Pontoon boat rental is available as an add on! Pets welcome for a $90 fee!

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. Joan and I live on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r." Diversity is welcome.

The cabin was recently completely renovated (Mar/April 2025)from log to log and is stocked with everything you'll need for your stay. It has all new appliances, furniture, fixtures, bathroom, cabinetry. 💚 It is the perfect homebase to relax after a long day of hiking Frog Bay, Houghton Falls, Lost Creek Falls, Meyers Beach, or shopping in nearby Bayfield, Washburn, or Cornucopia.

Equipped with a queen sized bed in the loft, cooktop, solar power, and a pump sink. A gas fireplace keeps you warm in the winter. We invite you to come and rest, and leave restored.

Built as a winter or summer escape for a couple or small group, this beautiful four season cabin is a great way to experience the Northwoods of Wisconsin in a modern, well-appointed, aesthetically rich space designed with relaxation in mind. Cabin is brand new as of January 2024. Host is 14 year "superhost" This is a default "no pets" cabin, however certain sizes and breeds are allowed by permission only. The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog ($50 pet fee). A SUP board is stored near the beach for guests in summer.

An awesome get away for families, friends and couples. Manhattan is a 20 min drive for city fun. We can accommodate up to 8 people upon request for an additional $20.00 per head per night.
