Directly to the Fjord

Our summerhouse is situated on a small island, Oroe, in Isefjord. It sits on a bluff, almost at the end of a gravel road, with direct access to the fjord from the house. We provide Danish traditional summer house-hygge in natural surroundings with a twist of modern facilities. The house is our private home, open for guests only 10-12 times a year ( the original idea behind AirBnB) In general, we attempt to be as sustainable as possible i.e we always try to repair rather than to replace.

Many elements of the apartment design are based on Niels Bohr, guests can have a unique staying experience with the mixture modern design and historical background.

Fjordgarden - Guesthouse

Our guest house is situated only 100m from Holbæk Fjord by a little lake surrounded by trees. When you live in the house you are close to nature, with easy access to the Fjord. The fjord is often used for water sports. Bicycle- and walking routes makes it easy to take tours, and with a short distance to the center of Holbæk (5 km) you can easily experience the town. Because of the lake, just in front of the guesthouse, it is not suitable for smaller children.

Bjælkehytten med udsigt over eng (45 min til KBH)

Velkommen til denne idylliske bjælkehytte, med en fantastisk udsigt. Indenfor kan du nyde varmen fra brændeovnen. Badeværelset er nyistandsat og har et stort badekar. Udenfor kan du nyde den flotte udsigt eller sidde ved bålpladsen og nyde naturen. Der er mange gode vandrestier i området. Sommerhuset har 3 kajakker du kan låne, hvis du vil nyde fjorden fra vandet. Fjorden "tempelkrogen" er kendt for sit gode fiskevand. Sommerhuset ligger 45 min. fra KBH.

Nyd de dejlige omgivelser i et af vores 2 hyggelige Tiny Houses. Kom ned i gear og hyg med vores dyr i den skønne natur, med marker så langt øjet rækker og måske en tur i kajakken eller spabadet. Lav mad i køkkenet, på grillen eller over bål. Vi har får, masser af høns og frække katte og små lam fra Marts. Our modern summerhouse is situated at Oroe in Isefjorden. The house lies on a 'hilly' plot owerlooking Isefjorden almost at the end of a gravel road. From the beach you can fish and swim. And then Oroe is only 1,5 hours drive from Copenhagen. If this house is booked, feel free to see our other house on Orø.
