Explore the footpaths that lead through undulating landscapes almost from the door. Take a scenic drive to Whitby, Scarborough & dine out at the numerous places to eat. Call at the village shop for supplies as you return to The Cabin. At the end of the day relax in the quirky candlelit outdoor bath whilst watching the stars in the Dark Sky Reserve.

Secret Garden Hideaway occupies one of the most secret locations in the Centre of Whitby here at Summer Hills, with a private garden accessed from the St Hildas Terrace behind a stone wall at the top of Flowergate it has guests returning to this wonderful location. Kitchen (kettle, toaster, cooker, microwave, fridge freezer) hair dryer, TV, DVD, sofa, shower, bathtub, towels, wifi, bed linen, iron, 1 double bed & a sofa bed. Owner provides parking permits for directly outside the property.

A lovely self catering holiday apartment,sleeps 2 and dogs are welcome. It’s situated above the lovely laurel inn pub. The kitchen/lounge area has WI-FI,recliner and easy chair,and a table and chairs. The bedroom has a quality double bed,hanging space and a smart t.v. Bedding and towels are provided. The bathroom has a shower,toilet,sink and a heated towel rail. ACCESSIBILITY- we are sorry to say that our rooms are not suitable for those with limited mobility,due to the steepness of stairs.

Hilda Cottage, bottom of Robin Hoods Bay!

Hilda Cottage is a 17th Century dwelling. The front door enters to the living area, downstairs is the equipped kitchen with large table. Upstairs is a double bedroom (WC ensuite) with sea views, and main bathroom, up the final flight of stairs is the loft bedroom (double bed & single bed) and sea views! The stairs are narrow & steep, see photos. If you're after old and quaint, Hilda is your girl, if you're after brand new, she probably isn't 💗 Parking permit for nearby car park.

The Cottage occupies a front line position, with breathtaking, uninterrupted sea views, just off the high street in the bottom of staithes old town. Two minutes walk from the famous Cod & Lobster pub and eatery. Sleeps 2 The cottage used to be the communal bakery where the womenfolk would bring their dough to be baked You will find yourself immersed in the history of this quaint old village once home to Captain James Cook, artist Dame Laura Knight, and countless smugglers.
