This is the first guest we would not recommend.
On departure, the review of broken items was acknowledged and we were surprised at the difficulty in getting reimbursed. Also, ants are present in a tropical environment but if the place is kept clean and morsels are not left lying around ants are usually not a problem. So cleanliness is important to keep ants away. On towels and linens, these are provided fresh and clean on arrival and this is the first complaint received. Part of the problem may be that whilst the villa is designed for 8 to 9 this guest came with 15 and although this was initially explained as children, it turns out that most of the additional guests beyond the capacity were in fact teenagers or older. Thus the facilities were stretched by the number of guests.
There are three villas but they are independent so there is no privacy issue with guests. The workers maintaining the garden, cleaning the villas and providing security do go from one villa to the other. However, if a guest wants privacy we can agree on the hours when these tasks can be performed to avoid inconvenience.
The water problem was due to an excessive number of guests in the villa relative to its stated capacity.
