I would help the guests in every possible way by giving directions and recommending places to visit and restaurants or cafes to eat out. You can also rent one of my bikes :) (No extra charge for the bike but you need to bring your own bicycle lock!)
The host lives in the same apartment, so the guests should be polite, quiet and clean up after themselves. Please make no noise after 12 p.m. Pets, smoking and partying are not allowed. Guests in the evening are not allowed either.
I am a 55-year-old woman. I live in Pärnu, a lovely summer resort in the south- west Estonia. I work as an English teacher. I have 2 grown-up children who live on their own.
I love travelling. I have been to many countries in Europe. I am a member of Cuchsurfing. I have hosted some surfers and I heve been a surfer muself twice.
I enjoy all things in life including my work with kids. I try to live in the present moment. I think life is an adventure, travelling is an adventure.
I also love reading, theatre, cinema (mostly European films), music, photograpy, eating out. I really enjoy sports. I love rollerblading, pole walking, riding a bike, cross-country skiing and freestyle spin.
While travelling I am interested in the culture, architecture and national food of the country I am visiting. I would really like to communicate with local people and just walk around and enjoy the nature, great views, architecture.
As a person I am cheerful, lively, fun-loving, tolerant, caring, polite and really friendly. As a guest I am very neat and tidy. I can't stand messy rooms. I clean after myself. I am not loud :)
As a host I am friendly, helpful and caring. I have only good references on my Couchsurfing profile as a host (written by the surfers whom I have offered my couch) My full name on Couchsurfing is Kersti Raspel, Pärnu, Estonia. So you can easily find me and read the references :)
My life motto is 'Always look on the bright side of life.'
