TV and free wi-fi. The neighborhood is friendly and very close to the town's center where you can easily find restaurants and dining, parks, art and culture. It is ideal for couples, business travelers, and families with kids. Guests are encouraged to enjoy our garden.
If you like hospitable surroundings you should like staying with us. The space has just been fully renovated, is nice and clean. An extra guest could stay and sleep overnight on the couch in the living room. We are quite friendly and like having people stay with us.
Please enjoy our garden either to just sit and relax, watch the flowers, birds and bees in summertime or the auroras or northern lights in winter - or just to breathe in the nice clean air.
When you arrive you will find that in the kitchen is coffee, teas, milk or cream, sugar, salt and spices free for you to use.

We offer assistance to all our guests in every way, as much as is reasonably possible, such as answer questions concerning your trip, Icelanders, nature or whatever you need to know about. We will also try and solve problems you might have and give directions about and around the area. Do write and ask if you have any questions.
FAQ - If you need to do laundry we will try to assist our guests for 5$ each load in the washing machine. There is very good outdoor clothes line free to use but we also have a dryer and the load would cost the same as the washer.

I am a grandmother and have been happily married to my husband Jón Hávarður since 1981. We love our family and friends, good meals, travelling, reading and of course our two little dogs.
