I am an amateur artist and I have my studio at the end of my large garden, from which I can watch the wildlife that visits my garden.
I also give art lessons for beginners which are charged at £15 per hour.
A nice area to visit is the longest pier in the world, Southend Pier which is approximately 20 mins away, accessible by bus.
I'm quite relaxed about my guests and I would like my guest to feel relaxed and at home, whilst respecting my space and pets.
I am vegetarian so will only provide a vegetarian breakfast.
I do not allow smoking in my house; guests will be expected to smoke in the garden only.
The living room, dining room, bathroom and kitchen would be accessible to my guest, plus the garden.

Animals are important to me, and a great deal of my artwork features our wonderful animal kingdom.
I love to travel, but there is no place like home!
My home town of Hadleigh is busy but we have a great community feeling here, with the countryside on my doorstep. Just 5 minutes walk away is the 2012 Olympic Mountain Bike track plus walks over to Hadleigh Castle with stunning views across to Kent and to the east can be seen Southend Pier, the longest pier in the world.
I live near the Thames Estuary, visiting the fishing village of Old Leigh regularly. Buses are 5 mins away which connect to all surrounding areas, plus Leigh Station is 5/10 mins by car.
Home loving, home cooking, and my 2 grown up children are important to me. I love to meet new people, and would give a weary traveller a warm welcome.
My passion are animals, and my drawings and paintings reflect this.
Also I love the peace and sanctury of my garden and spend many happy hours planting, and growing seedlings.
I have a badger sett at the end of my garden and these can be observed snuffling around on a regular basis.
