This stunning home is conveniently located close to Downtown and the LSU campus, and is within walking distance to Baton Rouge City Park. Come kick back on our lush front porch, and bask in the natural light in this early-20th-century house, complete with gorgeous architectural details. You’ll find access to public transport and bike lanes just one block away. We're minutes from I-10 too, so the location is perfect for exploring the Southern Louisiana region.
The house has impeccable architectural details. Our high ceilings, crown molding, and original hardwood floors lend a beautiful early-20th-century Southern style to the house. And the porch is just fabulous.
You’ll stay in a private master suite in our house, which is cleverly designed with local and regional artwork and antiques. The suite sports a comfortable double bed, a desk area, a small set of drawers, and a full private bathroom. (Go ahead. Take a bubble bath!) There is also an air mattress available if you and your +1 would prefer separate beds.
You’ll also share our kitchen, living room, dining room, porches, and backyard. And if you’re lucky, my adorable tabby cat might snuggle with you. You're welcome to keep her out of your suite if you'd prefer. She won't mind.

This is a shared home with housemates who are graduate students. Although we will do everything we can to ensure your comfort and privacy, please keep the nature of our living situation in mind before booking.
If you have any disability-related concerns, please communicate your needs in your message. We will do our absolute best to accommodate. However, please know that our house is accessible by stairs only. The front staircase, which is perpendicular to the house, has risers that are somewhat uneven. The back staircase runs parallel to the house, with a small landing leading to the door. Also, uneven floorboards a particular challenge in this home, as the flooring is original to the building, from the early 20th century. If you have a disability that makes walking on uneven floorboards particularly difficult, please consider this before booking.
We're a shoes-off house. :) Please leave your shoes at the door when you enter.
Also, we do not allow smoking inside our home. If you do smoke, it's tobacco-based only please, and you're welcome to do so on the front porch or in the backyard seating area. There is an ashtray on the front porch for your convenience.
And on a substance-related note, absolutely no mind-altering substances allowed. Louisiana's drug laws are particularly strict, and neither of us needs to put ourselves at risk. Thanks for understanding.
