The Lodge is a wonderful space for friends and family to get together. Being on the edge of the lake makes it perfect for people who want to sit out on the decking (with a glass of wine) and watch the world go by, or for the thrill seekers book onto the boat for some water-sports.

We are very lucky to live in a beautiful part of the country - the Cotswold's has so much to do, lovely walks, horse riding, canoeing, paddle boarding, water-skiing.
Both Johnny and I are real foodies, we love nothing more than sampling new dishes and visiting our favorite local restaurants and pubs.
Our love of food also coupled with our love of travel has led us to explore lots of beautiful countries in the past few years we have visited South Africa, taking a tour into Kruger National Park (where we have family who own a safari camp) to see the animals, driving the garden route in a little hired Ford Figo (with minimal arguments over directions), wine tasting in Stellenbosch and the mandatory climb (cable car) to the top of Table Mountain. We have also been lucky enough to travel to Borneo, Singapore and recently to Mauritius where we got engaged.
In Cirencester there are lots of lovely little bars, cafes, bistros and restaurants to choose from. Our favorite place to eat is a little sushi restaurant called Soushi and it does the most amazing Japanese food, miles from the sea but the fish is so fresh and tasty. We also love to eat in a tiny little restaurant called the Coterie - have a little look on TripAdvisor for this little hidden gem.
Having spent a number of years living on the edge of a lake in the loge we of course love being around the water. Johnny is an ex professional Wakebaorder so has spend a lot of time in the lake, I am more of a 'watch from the Lakeside Brasserie with a glass of chilled pinot grigio' kinda girl.
We like to travel and stay in somewhere that feels like home but we also enjoy lives little luxuries, we work very hard throughout the year so when we do find the time to go away we like to do it properly.
