Positives: Sarah contacted me a few days before our trip with instructions to check in. Informed us of what parking spot to park in; and it was always available to us every time we came back. She had coffee and the fixings to go with it, that's always a big plus for me. She had a note sitting on the table letting us know where everything was located, like ironing board, extra blankets... Things like that. It was so heart warming to see that this young lady is a Christian. Her apartment had scriptures everywhere! Loved that. Bed was very comfortable...we slept like a baby.
Negatives: A housekeeper she is not. This place is not clean! Kitchen and living room was ok but the bathrooms were another story. I always read reviews so I was shocked that there were several reviews saying that it was clean. It appeared that the apartment had not been cleaned in a while. She had lots of books in the master bedroom, a lot of clutter but I have to say well appointed. Thick dust all over which sent my husbands allergies into attack. The first words out of my mouth when we walked in the door was Oh wow, it stinks in here. Just a musty, old smell. I was taken aback to discover that Sarah actually resides there. She never mentioned that. When booking on Airbnb we always look for an entire home rather than a room in someone's home. It was a first for us to discover that she lives there. Every place we've rented, no one lives in the home they are renting out and leaves for the time she has guests renting. I think that should be noted in her ad.
