A haven for walkers, cyclists and those that want to get away from the hustle and bustle to explore everything that the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks have to offer.
We're located at the foot of the Howgill Fells and are just a short walk away from the local shops, amenities and traditional country pubs in Sedbergh.
Bed linen and towels are all supplied, along with basic necessities eg. toilet roll, kitchen roll, washing up liquid etc. I also put some basic provisions into the kitchen, cereals, coffee, tea, sugar milk etc.
Plenty of parking space on the doorstep to leave the car and go exploring on foot, with lots of varied walks to choose from.
If coming in the winter months, a torch would be useful, as although there are some street lights we are in a quiet and rural part of town.
There is a patio area with seating which you are more than welcome to use during your stay.

Sedbergh has a delightful range of individual shops and eating places. Sitting at the foot of the Howgills, which Alfred Wainwright described as “looking like a herd of sleeping elephants”. There are plenty of walks from hiking up to the Calf (the highest of the Howgills), to many riverside paths and walks for all abilities. Maps are available in the apartment for guests to use.
