Basic self-contained guest house in Greenhithe, on the North Shore with hill and river views. The guest house is a cosy, semi-detached unit that is connected to a cattery next door, but it is separate and relatively private. The block has lots of open spaces, a small orchard, chickens, and two houses next door.
This simple guest house consists of a private bedroom upstairs with two comfy single beds, leather couch, 32" TV and chest of drawers.
Please note the stairs leading up to the room are quite steep so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
Bathroom with shower and toilet is downstairs along with a small kitchenette for basic cooking needs.
Guests have full use of the whole guest house and gardens leading up the driveway. Deck and gardens are shared with the main house.
The downstairs lounge area is for your own use. Please note however the bathroom and kitchen are also downstairs and shared with the cattery office next door (which is connected to the guest house via a hallway) between 8.30am and 4.30pm. Outside these hours the whole guest house is for your exclusive use.

As much as guests would like. The guest house is separate to the main house on the property (please note there is a cattery office connected to the guest house, so the bathroom is shared with the cattery office during office hours of 8am-5pm) but we are always happy to answer any questions or assist where possible. Alternatively the cattery office can help with any issues.
There are other houses nearby so we ask guests to be respectful, tidy and keep noise down after 9.30pm.
There is no smoking inside but you can do so either on the deck or in front of the guest house.
Please note there is a cattery next door which shares part of the downstairs area (back section and bathroom) during business hours (8am-5pm). You are welcome to view the cattery from the outside area and meet the cats.
Check in and check out times can be flexible if you have special travel arrangements.
Hi, I'm Leona. I love travelling, meeting new people and trying different foods. I use Airbnb for my own travels, and I also host on behalf of my parents in Auckland who have a spare guest house at their place. They are kind and friendly hosts, and have lived in Auckland for over 20 years. They're more than happy to help guests with recommendations about what to see and where to go.
