This secluded, spacious totally self-contained apartment is set in a half acre of bushy garden, with ample, easy parking. It consists of a new, well-fitted out kitchen, ensuite bathroom and comfortable lounge. The lounge has a very comfortable sofa, armchairs on which to relax and view the large screen TV. Wifi is provided. The apartment has a separate bedroom with two king single beds which can be joined or kept apart. A continental breakfast of cereal and toast, tea or coffee is included.
The apartment has a new kitchen with modern amenities: an induction cooktop, a fridge and a microwave convection oven. Its equipment includes crockery, cutlery, glasses and saucepans. For your convenience, it is also equipped with a washing machine and there is a clothesline just outside the door.
The new bathroom has a spacious shower and a separate toilet. Luxurious toiletries are provided for your stay.
Guests can park unhindered, in our dedicated driveway. From there it's short walk through the garden to the apartment's totally separate entry and exit with a security key box. Guests are free to wander in our large garden, and can access a variety of herbs if they'd like to cook. They are likely to see birds of many kinds: eastern rosellas, rainbow lorikeets, magpies, kookaburras. Ringtail and brush tail possums also call our place home. At dusk, lucky guests may even spot sugar gliders.
We are keen that your stay lives up to expectations. We do have commitments, but one of us will plan to be available to greet you. Depending on guests' preferences, we'll often be available to socialise.
I enjoy meeting people, especially those from different cultures. My partner Phil and I have travelled together and independently, to many parts of the globe: Australasia, Asia and Europe. We'd like to continue this, but also hope that 'the world' may come to us in the form of travellers with a little time to chat. My rewarding part-time work as an ESL teacher of refugees, regularly reinforces the knowledge of how lucky we are here in Australia.
