Our recently extended house sits right alongside the River Severn situated at the end of a row of pretty Edwardian terraced houses 10 minutes from the historic Worcester city centre. There are numerous restaurants to choose from in the town centre as well as the surrounding area. There is also plenty of shopping, many historical sites including the famous Cathedral, beautiful walks and wonderful views. This place is charming we're sure you'll love it!
This is a reasonable sized loft conversion including a private roof terrace towards the back of the room. It includes a small fitted wardrobe . There is a permanent double bed. These Edwardian terraced houses are much talked about and well known in the city. They were originally built due to their proximity to the world renowned Worcester Porcelain where you can still visit the museum just around the corner. The location of the house directly on the river gives this room a very peaceful and quiet overall feeling, despite being a short walk from the city centre. Perfect for getting away from it all in a beautiful rural city!
In terms of access around the house, you are welcome to use the lounge/dining areas, kitchen and shower and bath rooms. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions regarding access.
This is my home, therefore I will be around mostly when you are here, but I would like to give you as much space as you need. I will be on hand to advise on everything from places to eat and visit to anything you may need around the house.
I am new to hosting guests in my home as I have a background in the medical field, but have recently retired from that and decided to give this a go!
Here are five things I can't live without: flowers (my absolute favourite), perfume (Yves Saint Laurent's Rive Gauche to be precise!), Prosecco, ale and maybe some food to go with them!
In all honesty, I have never done AirBNB as a guest, however, I travelled extensively when I was much younger, living in both the States and Australia. I came back from Aus over land where AirBNB would have been pretty useful (though that was back in the 70s...). I was introduced to the concept of AirBNB by my daughter, Katie, who has used this brilliant website over Europe and the UK. You may meet her as she also lives with me.
We look forward to meeting you and hope you enjoy your stay with us!
