Spacious detached Pavilion house on the Plateau area of Bagnoles De L'Orne, a beautiful French spa town. The house is set in 2,000 Sq. Meters of enclosed and gated gardens with ample off road parking and garage space.
The house is not only situated within easy walking distance of many excellent cafe's, patisseries, bars and restaurants but it is also on the edge of the forest which has endless walks and cycle routes to explore for adults and children alike.
Built in 1968, we have owned it since 2006 and lovingly updated it with double glazing, Town Gas central heating, superb fully-fitted kitchen with dishwasher, granite work surface and all modern appliances.
It has a large study that is fully equipped with broadband and land-line (all free calls except mobiles). The huge lounge/ diner has an enormous wood burning fire with glass safety doors, Skybox & satellite television, for English language programmes plus a video recorder, Hi-Fi etc.
There are two sets of double doors leading onto the full length sun terrace which is equipped with an electrically operated sun blind
The large ground floor twin-bedded bedroom with built in wardrobes and an adjacent bathroom is suitable for people with limited mobility.
The basement is a complete floor of the house measuring some 1700 sq ft, housing a laundry room, garage, and an area used for table tennis, plus storage for garden furniture, table chairs , etc and gardening equipment for anyone who feels the need.
It truly is a wonderful place to use as a base for exploring the delights of Bagnoles de L’Orne & the surrounding areas.
The house and garden are both child friendly & safe, whilst there are a few shallow steps to the front door we believe that anyone with limited mobility & accompanied wheelchair bound people would find it suitable. (Please discuss this further with us before booking.)
In addition to the garage there are two separate driveways with ample off road parking for cars.
The town has an excellent nine hole golf course, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, archery court, horse riding, thermal spa treatment centre, numerous restaurants of good quality, a Casino, outdoor swimming pool, large lake, etc all within walking distance of our house.
In addition In July there is always a wonderful firework display over the lake and there is a Trotting Race track at the side of the lake which holds events several times a year (check with tourist office)

Our house has six shallow wide steps to the front door and a similar number to the rear kitchen door, however once inside the ground floor has a bedroom, bathroom, second wc., study, kitchen & lounge all on one level.
There is a single flight of stairs to the first floor containing two further bedrooms, two showers and an additional wc. (all carpeted)
There is also a single flight of stairs giving internal access to the lower floor area containing, garage, laundry room playroom etc.
Ground floor is mostly tiled with the study & bedroom carpeted.
We will arrange for someone to meet and greet you at the beginning of your stay to ensure that you have everything you need and also for when you leave the house.
However, should you need anything whilst you are in the house we are always at the end of the phone.
