This cabin was the bunkhouse for counselors at the old Camp Maranocook for boys. It's on Birch Island along with another, larger house which my family uses throughout the summer. It's a great place for fishing, swimming (water temp gets to 70 degrees at the height of summer), and dogs. Water views all around of beautiful Lake Maranacook which is known for its pristine water.
I moved to Savannah, Georgia in August of 2016 and love it but my heart calls home an island in the middle of Lake Maranacook near Readfield, Maine. It's my family's place and we love to share this special place with other people.
I love to read, write and run, okay and row or paddle a little bit too!
