You are correct that the unit is a non-smoking unit, and it is unfortunate that I was not aware of the overpowering smell of smoke in the room. Upon hearing from my maid your day of check in she explained to me she had an emergency and would not make it. At this time I was still working until 5 pm but I made special accommodations so that I could leave my job as early as possible to prepare and clean the place for you. I cleaned it myself and again I apologize for not noticing any smell of smoke or odor as you described. Im sorry I was not aware of your concern. If you would have called that issue to my attention, I would have been happy to bring over a couple of air purifiers and place them in the unit. I apologize for the 6pm check in. I was going as fast as I could and was not going to stop until it was 100% clean, comfortable, and ready to accommodate you. I always strive for my home to be as clean and comfortable as possible for my guests. I was hopeful the 75% discounted rate I provided you for the room rental would weigh into your overall experience, but apparently it did not. Usually my rate this time of year is around 172$ per night plus fees etc. Regarding the water pressure, we will monitor that in the future, as we have never received any negative comments about the water pressure and our subsequent running of the shower did not reveal any issues at all.
