Enjoy this cozy guest house, just 12 minutes from Montpelier! This sunny, art-filled and modernly decorated house sits off a quiet gravel road and offers a unique Vermont get away. Much of the art in the house is by local (friends of mine!) artists, and is for sale. The Itsy Bitsy has a full kitchen, and bathroom (shower). The bedroom has a very comfy queen sized bed. The deck in the back offers a private sanctuary overlooking the woods. Hike, bike, swim and/or relax to your heart's content!
The Itsy Bitsy also has books, games and Roku TV (in the bedroom). The wifi is also good, but you may want to turn off your phone and computer and just enjoy the the country life. Paul, the owner, looks at his house and the Itsy Bitsy as his hobby art. As former furniture maker and weekend renovation warrior, I always wanted to build my own house. Now I have two (it became addicting..the building that is). I hope you enjoy the Itsy Bitsy!
You have full access of the Itsy Bitsy. Wood Road is a very nice road for a country walk and there is an extra 1 mile loop in the woods toward the end of the road, which can provide you with a nice, very local excursion. Parking is under the attached carport or just to the right of it.

I hope I can help you with questions and concerns during your stay. I live full time in my house, so I am often around. I work just 3 minutes away, at our local elementary school.

Please note that the stairs from up to downstairs are steeper than average.
I have a new rescue dog, Luce. She's a year and a half pointer mix...super friendly and active. I will keep her under my wing, unless you want to meet her!

from Vermont....very laid back. We lived in Mendocino, CA for 5 years, visited and loved Kauai, when my daughter, Bea was in middle school. Although I now live in Vermont, I love to surf and paddle board. Bea is a vegan, and plans to study Nutrition and Health Sciences at Univ. of Hawaii. The purpose of the trip is to find Bea an off campus place to live...and I have to leave her..
